We hope you will walk with us for the next eight days as we learn what Ubuntu means in our world. Together with the women of the Rio Bravo area of Mexico and women on the U.S. side near McAllen, Texas, we will learn about the current-day issues impacting both sides of the borders. With one-on-one conversations, we will share our hopes and dreams for our families, communities and churches. Savor our cultures through local foods and customs as we cross not only cultural but ecumenical lines. We hope to learn and open our hearts to God’s mission along the Texas and Mexico border.
